Supporting Recovery with Thoughtful Design
Work-related injuries can significantly impact a person’s life, often requiring modifications to their living environment to maintain independence and quality of life. Fortunately, Workman’s Compensation insurance is available to cover the costs of necessary home modifications for injured workers, ensuring they have a safe and accessible space to call home.
The Project: Building for Comfort and Accessibility
This project involved constructing a specialized addition to the injured worker’s home. Given that he is now confined to a wheelchair, our focus was on creating a space that would allow him to move freely and comfortably throughout his home.

Customized Living Space: We designed and built an addition that seamlessly integrates with the existing home, featuring accessible doorways, a roll-in shower, and lowered countertops, all tailored to accommodate the client’s needs.

Wheelchair Accessibility: To ensure the worker could easily enter and exit his home, we installed ramps that provide smooth, effortless access. These ramps are built with durability in mind, ensuring long-term reliability and safety.
